Our budget has been created though detailed research into the costs of every aspect of the activity. We feel that we have established realistic fees and prices and attempted to cost out a high quality project that offers good value for money within the principles of economy, efficiency and effectiveness.

The major spending within the project will go towards its artistic delivery, although the cost of our marketing activities and necessary renovation of the venue also constitute a substantial proportion of the budget.

The money for the Insight project will primarily be coming from Arts Council England. However, we have also been working hard to gain at least 10% of the project cost in match funding. This money will be coming from:

    • Atlas creative Arts project fund (Confirmed)
    • Paul Hamlyn Foundation (Expected)
    • The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation (Expected)
    • Private Sponsorship (Confirmed)
    • Fundraising events (Expected)
    • South Holland District Council (Expected)
    • Lincolnshire County Council (Expected)

Atlas Creative Arts holds its business account with HSBC and is a not-for-profit organisation. All funds and assets remaining at the end of the project will be used for future projects, or should the organisation be dissolved, they will be given as charitable donations. It is however important that the project achieves maximum quality, therefore no funding will be ‘held back’ but will be used to ensure quality of the project in full.

To ensure the spending of finances is controlled, all withdrawals from the account must have authorisation from both the Chairman and the Secretary of the Organisation. We will ensure that all financial records are kept up to date, and all evidence of expenditure is held for a period of 2 years – or as required by funding bodies.
